Essentially, the commissioning process formalizes review and integration of all project expectations during planning, design, construction, and occupancy phases by inspection, functional, performance testing, and oversight of operator training and record documentation.
Commissioning of Systems and plant is generally conducted in line with ASHRAE level 1 to 5 testing which was developed for Critical l Asset facilities to offer a full quality assured and controlled testing regime and management of the Commissioning process. This is adopted now in most builds to deliver QA/QC control to the Commissioning phases.

By pass provisions-isolation facilities for maintenance- commissioning design basis indicated- air and water flow rates- fan and pump duties- chw coil duties etc
